Available Positions

VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR

  • Supervise, recruit, and hire short-term and long-term volunteers
  • Oversee projects and coordinate them with volunteers
  • Assist with the weaving classes, especially translating for foreign students
  • Manage the TRAMA Textile store and products
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for interested external parties  
  • Plan weekly staff meetings
  • Report directly to the officers of the association

Job Requirements

  • Minimum time commitment of 3 months
  • Be on-site and available during stores hours, Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm
  • Intermediate level of Spanish and English (Conversational)
  • Ability to self-manage and self-motivate
  • Ability to manage others and work in an international environment
  • Friendly, outgoing and has a sense of humor

MARKETING COORDINATOR

  • Coordinate with local Spanish schools, non-profits, businesses to advertise for TRAMA
  • Promote TRAMA’s weaving classes to international weaving associations and programs to recruit students
  • Export our products by researching potential markets and communicating with prospective buyers
  • Update and maintain the product catalogue
  • Report directly to the officers of the association and the Volunteer Coordinator
  • Update and maintain information on TRAMA’s website

Job Requirements

  • Minimum time commitment of 3 months
  • Intermediate level of Spanish and English (Conversational)
  • Ability to self-manage and self-motivate
  • Ability to manage others and work in an international environment
  • Friendly, outgoing and has a sense of humor

FUNDRAISING COORDINATOR

  • Plan and organize benefits parties for TRAMA Textiles
  • Research potential sources of funding, including private donors and foundations
  • Write grant proposals and endorsement letters
  • Manage communications with prospective and major donors

Job Requirements

  • Minimum time commitment of 3 months
  • Basic level of Spanish preferred, but not necessary
  • Ability to self-manage and self-motivate
  • Ability to manage others and work in an international environment
  • Report directly to the officers of the association and the Volunteer Coordinator
  • Friendly, outgoing and has a sense of humor
  • Relevant experience in fundraising, grant writing, or financial planning preferred
