Located on the way to or from the Mexican border, Huehue ("way-way") is often a stop over spot for travelers arriving from Mexico via Cancun.

 

 

 

 

 

The main attraction is the Mam ruins of Zaculeu a small set of reconstructed temples with a museum. Huehuetenango is worth your time if you are passing through. You will sample a taste of Guatemala that many do not take the time to see.
