Our Volunteer Program

We noticed that many of the students that came here to study also had an interest in seriving the people of this area. We also recognized that there were many organizations in need of help. For this reason, we started the Volunteer Center. Through the Volunteer Center, we work as a link between those who want to serve and the people who need help. We have several contacts with agencies and organizations in and around Quetzaltenango. With an agreement to study a minimum of one week at our school, we help you get placed in an organization.

Where you would like to serve depends on what your particular interests are and the time commitment that you are willing to give. We have had students who have volunteered in dentists´ offices, doctors´ offices, day care centers, orphanages, shelters, cultural centers, communities, building houses and many more. This not only gives you a chance to use your Spanish, but you can see and experience more of the reality of this area.
